The Training and Placement Cell of SVKP & Dr. K. S. Raju Arts & Science College (Autonomous) is committed to enhancing the employability and career prospects of students by providing systematic training and facilitating placement opportunities. The cell acts as a vital link between students, the institution, and industry. The cell organizes continuous training programs focusing on aptitude skills, analytical reasoning, communication skills, soft skills, and technical competencies aligned with current industry requirements. Special emphasis is laid on personality development, career guidance, resume preparation, group discussions, mock interviews, and confidence-building activities to prepare students for campus recruitment. The Training and Placement Cell maintains strong industry interaction by collaborating with reputed organizations, corporate training partners, and skill development agencies. Regular campus recruitment drives, internships, industrial visits, guest lectures, and workshops are conducted to expose students to real-world professional environments. The cell also takes proactive initiatives to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by providing free or sponsored training programs in association with foundations and corporate social responsibility (CSR) partners. Through consistent mentoring and motivation, the cell ensures inclusive growth and equal opportunities for all students. With a student-centric approach and a focus on quality outcomes, the Training and Placement Cell strives to produce skilled, confident, and industry-ready graduates who can meet global workforce demands and contribute effectively to society.
Objectives :
- Career Guidance & Placement Services Cell conducts interactive sessions for students on soft skills and pursuit of Higher Education.
- Provides Placement Assistance to the students.
- Government employment notifications are made available and encouraged to apply.
- Arranges on-campus dirves for final year students.
- This cell offers guidance to the students who wish to appear for competitive examinations like GATE, NET, AUCET, ICET, etc.,
- Facilities are provided through a mini library equipped with reference books, material for various competitive examinations, journals, magazines and periodicals.
- The cell arranges lectures by inviting personnel from industries / organizations.
- Departments of Management Studies, Chemistry and Computer Science are in constant touch with leading organizations and several students were selected in theoff-campus interviews conducted by Multi-National Companies.
- Reading material is provided on Soft Skills.
- Special training is given on Personality Development to students.
- Organized Training Programs under APSSDC to UG and PG students.
