The Department of Physics organised National Science day celebrations on 27/02/2011 sponseredby DRC Tanuku S.Srinivasa Rao lecturer in Physics preside over the function and explain importance of national science day and services contributed by SIR C.V RAMAN to the field of science & research Guest speaker Sri K.V GANESH KUMAR Lecturer in Physics D.R.G Govt College, Tadepalligudem delivered a guest lecture on Raman spectroscopy. HOD of English & IQAC Coordinator K.SASI KUMAR spoke about prospectus in Higher Education in Science and blessed the students on occasion Department of Physics and Electronics conducted various competitions like quiz, elocution and essay writing on the eve of National Science day. Finally prizes were distributed by the guests and the programme is ended by vote of thanks by Sri C.S.Anand Kumar by Lecturer in Physics. Faculty of physics P.B.V.A.S RAVIKIRAN, D.V.S SARMA and G.D SRINIVAS REDDY and other faculty members , Non teaching staff S.Suryanarayana , K.Satyanaryana , P.venkatesh and students were attended.
